Associate Professor Dr. Patthra Pason received her Bachelor with 2nd honor of Food Technology from Khonkaen University (1999). After that, she completed her M.Sc and Ph.D. from school of Bioresource Technology (Biochemistry) from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi in 2001 and 2006. Dr. Patthra started her career as a researcher at Enzyme Technology Laboratory, Pilot Plant Development and Training Institutes, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), Bangkok, Thailand since 2007. In 2020, she working as a senior researcher at Researcher of Excellent Center of Enzyme Technology and Microbial Utilization. During working at KMUTT, she was encouraged to collaborate research project with many companies as PTT Public Company Limited, Mitr Phol and SCG. To develop scientific excellence on basic research and applications related with elucidation of novel enzyme and microorganism for lignocellulosic biomass degradation, an environmental friendly and green technology approach for sustainable biorefinery and zero waste utilization. Also, create best available methods for protecting and keeping the environment sustainable using multifunctional enzyme and microbial technology for valorization of agricultural waste and ago-industry.
